Welcome to my world!
I have been making Art and Craft all my life whilst bringing up my four children and in my career in Nursing and as a Health Visitor. Now I have retired I am able to discover so many new ideas and my artistic career has blossomed in retirement.
I started attending Art lessons and expanded my range to include watercolours. I also started to make decorative objects, including families of toadstools and children's Grandfather clocks.
In 2019, my life changed with a stroke and loss of speech. In 2020, like so many people we had covid-19 and the lockdown and made our lives into a shrunken world!

In 1999 I started making children's Grandfather Clocks and Mouse Houses. I registered my small business as Talk Of The Time and Tottycraft was born. Since then I have had my own small home run business as a Scrapbooking Consultant until the demise of the Host Company in 2012. From then, I have been lucky enough to explore my life-long passion of creating things. This is my web-site, Jan North Art, where I can share all things, the Good The Bad and the Ugly! I say that because the first Painting I ever sold to a couple who loved it, the reaction from my son was "Thank God for that! I hated it!" Proving that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! And while I'm on cliches, "each to their own!"
